Hi All,
Happy new year! The next Indoor-Fly event sponsored by BCRC will be this week Friday Jan 8th starting 9 pm. As before, the location is the main gym at Central Bucks West High School (375 W Court St, Doylestown, PA 18901). Just like for the previous flying season, we will have separate air time slots for 3D and micro circuit flying (see rules below). The dates for future events are listed below. The start time for all the slots will be 9 pm unless noted.
January 22
February 5 (8 pm start)
February 19
March 4 (8 pm start)
Indoor Fly Rules:
1. The time between 9 and 11 pm be divided into alternating time blocks for micro circuit flying and 3D style flying.
2. At this time, the slots will be 15 min micro circuit/20 min 3D. This can be changed on distribution of flyers at any given event
3. At the end of each time block an announcement will be made, all flyers will land and the other group will take off.
4. At any given time the number of flying objects using the main area of the gym will be capped at 8.
5. Helicopters and quads will be allowed to hover at the center of the gym or at the corners so that they will not impede circuit flying. Hovering machines are exempt from the above numerical limit.
6. Flyers are encouraged to stand as far back from the black line as possible to maximize space.
A hard copy of the above will be available for your comment and modification. Changes will be adapted as possible. If you gave strong objections to these guidelines please let me know ASAP
