Success at Doylestown Airport

Just wanted to say thank you to all that showed up Saturday. We had a fun time at the static display and it was just a great day to be out there.

Field Conditions

Joe Baker just sent me this:

 

Rico:

Given the field status (unable to be mowed in a week, very wet, high potential for getting stuck), would you like for me to send an email to the membership suggesting they do not visit the field until at least mid next week?

I agree!  With all the rain that we've had Please stay off the field this weekend until it has a chance to drain. Acording to Joe we have standing water in the middle of the field and even in the areas that we have gravel like the road and parking lot it is now soft mud!

BCRC Picnic Postponed AGAIN!

Hi All,

 

I had a request from Chef Steve that we cancel the picnic again for Sunday May 22nd. I am going to have to agree with him. With all this rain that we have had and are going to get this week we'll end up getting everyone stick up to their axels. 

 

So Please call everyone that does not have e-mail and tell them the picnic is postponed.

 

We'll work on the new date at the next meeting.

Doylestown Airport Open House

 

We could use a few more people to come down and join our static display at the Doylestown airport open house. Please coordinate with Joe Baker on what is needed. Come early to get a good parking place.

Hi All,

 

Looks like Sunday will be a washout. I think the best thing to do is cancel the Picnic until Next weekend.

 

The raindate for the Picnic is Sunday May 22 11am
