We are going to start the indoor flys again this year. Same place Central Bucks West High School Gym. 

You must have a current AMA card to fly. A donation is requested.

Wet Field

Hey All,

I just got an update from Lou,

Hi Rico
Was the field today to cut , The field was closed so I walk in. The field is floating,  very wet in the back corner with a few puddles. Talked  to Gayman and he is  upset about members coming in right after it has rained. As I said the field will take at least a week to dry out.
I don't know when Gayman wiil open the field. It would be a good idea to post this on the web site

Remember if the field is closed DO NOT EVEN THINK of driving back there. 

We have been getting a lot of rain. Give the field some time to dry off!

July Meeting

Hi ALL!

 

Just a reminder the July Meetng will be at the field at 6:30 pm Thursday. Thursday is shaping up to be a great day!

I and a bunch of others are going to come out early and put some planes in the air.

Dick Walters is going to demo plane lights during twilight for show and tell. 

 

So let's get out there and have some fun!

The July 14th Membership meeting will be held at the field at 6:30 pm.

Come Early and Fly for a while!

 

If the weather is bad it will be held in the usual place at the township building!

Success at Doylestown Airport

Hi All

Just wanted to say thank you to all that showed up Saturday. We had a fun time at the static display and it was just a great day to be out there.

Field Conditions

Joe Baker just sent me this:

 

Rico:

Given the field status (unable to be mowed in a week, very wet, high potential for getting stuck), would you like for me to send an email to the membership suggesting they do not visit the field until at least mid next week?

I agree!  With all the rain that we've had Please stay off the field this weekend until it has a chance to drain. Acording to Joe we have standing water in the middle of the field and even in the areas that we have gravel like the road and parking lot it is now soft mud!

BCRC Picnic Postponed AGAIN!

Hi All,

 

I had a request from Chef Steve that we cancel the picnic again for Sunday May 22nd. I am going to have to agree with him. With all this rain that we have had and are going to get this week we'll end up getting everyone stick up to their axels. 

 

So Please call everyone that does not have e-mail and tell them the picnic is postponed.

 

We'll work on the new date at the next meeting.
